P100 Functional Masterbatch is a high-performance additive developed by Yunfu Hongzhi New Materials Co., Ltd. for polypropylene (PP)-based systems, particularly BOPP films and optical-grade PP films. It is formulated using ultra-fine, environmentally compliant inorganic functional fillers dispersed in a PP carrier matrix via proprietary compounding technology. The masterbatch delivers exceptional optical clarity and surface gloss while maintaining excellent processability and compatibility with standard PP extrusion and film production lines. Its non-migrating, non-blooming nature ensures long-term stability without compromising printability or lamination adhesion. Target applications include premium packaging films, label stock, and high-clarity industrial films where whiteness enhancement, cost reduction through filler substitution, and mechanical reinforcement are critical requirements.
1. Ultra-fine particle size (~1 μm) ensures homogeneous dispersion and superior transparency in thin films.
2. High functional loading (80–85 wt%) maximizes performance per unit dosage and reduces carrier resin usage.
3. Optimized melt flow index (20–40 g/10 min at 5 kg) enables smooth extrusion and stable BOPP line operation.
4. Excellent thermal stability (melting point ~160°C) prevents premature degradation during high-speed orientation processes.
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and moisture. Shelf life is 12 months from date of manufacture when stored unopened under recommended conditions. Transport as non-hazardous general cargo; avoid exposure to rain or extreme temperatures during transit. Pre-dry if exposed to high humidity before processing; blend thoroughly with base PP resin using standard gravimetric feeders.
